You guys have me rolling in laughter! Thanks for the input and advice :) Topher, I ESPECIALLY love that you "snuck" in and had advice as well! I am going to assume my body is out of whack and not worry about it. As always, what a great place to find information and help! Have a great evening!

I'll add that I was so so so glad I didn't have one for three months after surgery, because I had some complications.  I ended up with very severe pneumonia and was in the hospital for three weeks.  For part of that time I was in ICU on a ventilator.  Since I was mostly out of it during that time, I guess I wouldn't have really noticed or cared if I'd had a period then, but it seems like it would have been messy and unpleasant to be on my period when I couldn't even get out of bed.  I don't know why I went so long without one, because I'd been pretty regular in the past and am regular again now, but it all worked out well for me.

Take a test if you think you might be pregnant.  That said, I got my period the day after surgery, it lasted for 8 (LOOOONG) days, and then I did not get it again for another 6 weeks.  It is not atypical for the surgery to throw off your cycle.  Good luck!

Mine was wonky for the first several months. Had several episodes of bleeding post-op due to the blood thinners given and it took a while to get back to normal (whatever that is, lol) and now it is every 32 days or so. But it took at least 3 months for that...maybe even 4.

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

I started my period 3 days post op then had 4 in 2 months!!!  5 days each.  Now I seem to be back to normal.  I didn't panic because my surgeon told me that the rapid weight loss will really mess with my hormones.
