Mostly all are healing pretty good I just have one insicion on my right side that is pretty sore and a little red and burns and stings is that normal? is there anything I can put on it? should I still wear my binder or air it out , otherwise I'm doing ok. Thanks everyone.

I never had a binder, so I cannot comment on that, but if you have an incision that is red, burns and stings, I would at least call the surgeon and see if they think some antibiotic ointment would be advised. Mine never had any burning or stinging, nor did my husband. That to me, would equate to at least a call, if not a visit.

Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

Has it been red and stinging all along or is that new?  If it's getting redder or hurting more than it did a day or two ago, I'd give your doc's office a call.  I wouldn't put anything on it without asking your doc, either.

From my personal experience, the incision on my side did stay sore far longer than the others. But I didn't experience any extra redness or burning. I'm with the others...if it concerns you, I would definitely call your surgeon, particularly before applying anything to it or going outside your recommended routine. Definitely don't wanna risk infection. I also didn't have to wear a binder, so I can't offer any advice there.

iknow the one on my upper left and the middle have had more issues than my other 3 incisions, those two of mine itch like crazy stll a mth out, but i was allergic to the dermabond and dr said there is still some in the incision up under the skin so it will be a while before i quit itching, not to mention the one on the upper left is where soem stretch marks  are and it causes it to itch more too. :(

I called the office and talked to a nurse and she told me to put some Antibiotic Ointment and a bandage and see how that works. I will give it awhile to see how it goes.
