Having healthy fats and plenty of protein is a wonderful way to control blood sugar, and stave off mood disorders and depressive feelings.
Handy tip: Google will do conversions for you. Just type in the Google search bar, for instance "30 grams is how many ounces" and it will put the answer right in the drop down list of choices.
30 grams is a smidgen over 1 ounce, 1.05 to be exact. However, the recipe calls for 20 grams, which is 0.7 ounces. Can't really convert a weight measurement to a volumetric measurement, so using a scale would be the best bet I would think.

You could use SF Pineapple syrup - Torani and Davinci and other companies make them and then you would eliminate the sugar carbs. Try throwing some spinach leaves in. The color will be green but spinach is almost tasteless and increases the nutritional value of any smoothie. (I like to add Kale or Chard but they are a little more bitter).

Using real juice and real fruit increases the calories AND sugar content.
That sounds delicious - anything would be better than chocolate or vanilla at this point. Thanks for sharing, think i'll try it with SF flavorings. Just need to order some pineapple.
