surgery date

I got my surgery date!!! I have never posted on here but have been looking at posts and everyone's advice. Have found it very helpful in making the decision about WLS and just for moral support. Went through the 6 month preop stuff and then changed insurance provider so had to wait a little longer for approval. I was so worried that it would not be approved because of the change. I am a little scared but so ready to have RNY on 3/21. Open to any advice or tips from anyone. Thanks!

I go see Dr. Huyhn on Thursday and I'll get my date too. How exciting for you and scary! I'm really nervous. Just go in positive!!! I am trying to stay positive with a positive outlook. You will do just fine. Where are you having it done? who is your surgeon?

Dr. Peluso in Pittsburgh. Very excited for you too! I am nervous but more excited I think. What I worry about mostly is telling my coworkers. I work in an office with 9 other women and there is quite a bit of talking about each other. I have no idea how to tell them. Only my boss and my one trusted coworker knows.

Congratulations!  Do u mind if I ask what insurance you have and did they go by your starting weight or your last weigh in?  Good luck!
