When you say weight stall, are you still losing inches?
I am curious about this as I have ready many posts about "stalls" and weight coming off like a stair step - loss, stall, loss, stall. Those of you posting about a stall.. is it only weight or are you stalling in your size decreasing? I gauge myself more on fit of clothes than weight so I want to be sure to prepare! :)
As a side note, my surgery was a week ago today and my 2 week appt isn't until next week so I haven't weighed myself... BUT, my grand daughters teacher commented on my weight loss today so I know it's coming off. Mostly see it in my face!
Short term, I never found measuring reliable. You can measure five times in one day and get five different measurements. I weighed in once a week, but only measured once a month. Anything less was not accurate.
Be prepared for your first stall. Do a search for the three week stall. Everyone gets it.
HI stalled for part of week 3 and all of week 4.
I wish I would have measured but I didnt. All I can saw is the clothes definately felt looser but I have no empirical evidence to back that assessment.
I lost my weight in my FEET and face first. Shoes have to be tightened (i.e. velcro slippers) and laces pulled.
So we must be face sisters.
Enjoy the ride.

Three pounds below Goal!!! Yay !
I've been in a stall for near a month now, will be 8 months out on the 11th. I have not found myself to be losing inches and I do keep track monthly of that, so for me it doesn't hold true that when I stall, I still lose inches. Granted I have lost over 100+ lbs. since my surgery last June and I expected things to be slowing down (from 299 to 196 currently)...I'm still following all my eating rules, exercising, drinking more than enough. I change up what I eat from time to time, it doesn't make a difference. Stalling is a normal part of weightloss. It will never be a constant...
Thank you so much for the insight! I don't plan on measuring myself more than once a month so I probably won't notice the stall too much. Once I'm released to start working out again, I plan to weigh myself weekly and will have my first weigh in next Thursday. Should be interesting! My biggest indicator of loss is how my clothes fit anyway! :) This forum is awesome, thanks again for the input!
