Wow are you really 9 years out from surgery?  If so, I am impressed you are still visiting OH and participating in the forums.  I will probably do the same - I really like the support I get on here :)  I am obsessed with kale chips and am trying to perfect the recipe :)  (and I also love hot sauce)

Figured out dinner. It was so delicious, I thought I'd come back and share.

I made tortilla soup (tomatoes, chilies, black beans, chicken broth, whole milk, chili powder, garlic, salt, a little cayenne, taco-seasoned chicken) and southwest salad (romaine, coleslaw mix, blackbeans, taco-seasoned chicken, tomatoes, chilies) with mexi-ranch dressing (FF sour cream, ranch seasoning, chili powder).

My nose is running because of the heat of the soup, but everything was sooo good!

Oh wow that sounds delicious! I love that kind of spice. I have thought about trying a tortilla soup (minus the tortillas). Thanks for sharing!

Rock on with the couch to 5k! I hope to one day be able to do that :) Egg beaters and ricotta sounds awesome. Especially with some good herbs and spices! Do you do the fat free kind or part-skim?
