What's on the menu today, RNY-ers?
Hi guys! Yesterday and today were both 50%+ fat. I do believe in having certain things full fat and certain things light, but with so much cheese I'm really high on fat grams. 55 g yesterday and 42 today. I plan on eating a little leaner now that I am home, in control of my food, and away from my food pushing family lol. They kept asking me if I could have "just one fry" and things like that. Hmmmm wonder if that contributed to my weight when I was younger ;)
IMHO- in the beginning you just have to focus on getting your protein in- so if it takes cheese to do it, so be it! Later you will have to worry about the fat a little more... but some fat is not necessarily bad. It helps you to feel full longer. I ate cheese. The full fat stuff. I still eat full fat cheese- unless its cream cheese. I eat lean meat though, don't eat fried foods, etc. This is just my opinion though.
I ended up ending yesterday so poorly that today is already a struggle. I went to a party around dinner last night and there was NOTHING healthy to eat. I ate some junk, got my stomach upset, and ended up eating a bowl of cheerios before bed - not on my plan, but kept me from getting sick.
Anyway, today's plan is this:
B: Protein shake (I'm working on that now, even though it's lunch time)
And that's all I know. I'll have to look through your ideas and get inspired!

Cleaning up my eating a bit.... whole natural foods been eating too much processed
B- egg white quiche muffins with red bell peppers, onion, mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes.
L- Med turkey chili with chickpeas and curry
S- cheese stick and handful of almonds.
D- chicken and califlower with curry/chili greek yogurt for dip.
Good on water and vitamins
