Update- been a while
Uhg, I'm sorry you're having such a hard time. Agreed with the others.....keep pushing your docs or find one who will find the problem! Girl, get a counselor if you haven't already. No shame in it, AT ALL! You need to get emotions in check because you will most likely have more loose skin even if you get well and can get to the gym. It helps, and I'm speaking from experience.

My blog about my journey - Up From Under
Hey, I've been thinking about you, I am glad you posted to update. I"m sorry you continue to struggle. I agree with the others keep pushing the Dr, and and possibly even consult with a new Dr. Make sure you are taking care of your mental health as well as the physical.
Hugs... Dealing with RNY and food issues, body changing issues, hormones dumping is difficult by itself. I am sorry that you dave to deal with complications on top of that. Depression sducks... Also since you can't eat much - you probably hasve issue with tasking vitamins and minerals, right ? If so... Low or loweetring levels of iron, B12, B1, D, low protein levels - all of those masy contribute to an additional depression. I had been there - when my ferritin drops below 30 - I feel like a crying baby.... And at my age and stubborness - crying when you talk to a doc was pisdijng me more.... But I could not help it, but it felt like there's bius nothing I could do to stop it...
Please make sure they run FULL vitamin - mineral panel on you soon..

I'm so sorry to hear about your troubles, too! I had a friend who had major complications the first year, too. She went back in for surgery 2 times and was close to death once. But, 5 years out she said she would do it all over again because it's given back her life. She didn't say that at the time so I'm sure she could relate to you. I just wanted to give you some hope. Please hang in there - you'll get through this!
I am sorry to hear you are still going through so much pain and troubles post-op.
PLEASE get help for your depression and don't take "no" from your dr's until they get to the root of what ails you.
If you had your surgery at a medical center, they all have a patient advocacy/Risk Management dept. Contact them ASAP along with your insurance company regarding the lack of a resolution to your issues.
5 months is too long already!
Please keep us posted.
