I have to admit it was one of your posts that gave me the idea to make the bites and I"m so glad I tried them.  I made them up also so I will have for breakfast during the week.   They are sooo good and I can imagine all the variations that would be so good I was thinking like turkey bacon, spinach and cheese would be good.

I wasn't sure if I'd really like the banana shake but you know what it's really good!   Their coffee one is really good too, I like that one if i'm having a shake in the morning.

Shelly  has incredible recipes on her blog and I have tried a few different varieties of egg bites!  I have found that I need to use a turkey bacon or bacon (maybe for the salt?) and the stronger the cheese, the better!  When I made some with deli turkey and peppers and bland shredded cheese, I felt like I was just having some eggs and I wasn't excited for breakfast.  I actually couldn't get through all 24.  So I find I need the salt and the strong cheese :)  I am so glad you are enjoying them too!  I make all 24, then freeze some and eat 3 for breakfast...so I eat 15 during the workweek, and have some stored for a later date!  When I nuke them at work, people always want to try them, so sometimes I bring in some for my friends (non WLS people at that!).  :)

I didn't have deli ham but I did have Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage crumbles that were already cooked. I added those to my egg bites. OMG. Tasted just like REAL sausage. So good!!!!

If you are sick of chocolate and vanilla protein shakes, I LOVE the Bariatric Foodie Protein Shake book. You can get it on amazon for $8 I think. I love that thing!  It gives you all sorts of ways to make your shakes delicious!

As you can likely tell, chicken fajitas innards are one of my favorite meals too :)  Congrats on starting Couch to 5k.  That's amazing!  I plan to do the same one day, when I get to a weight where I am able to do more than walk :)

You made me laugh when you wrote that you plan to do the same when you get to a weight where you are able to do more than walk. I tell myself this all the time.  Even though I've lost 88 lbs I still see myself as being "the fat girl", "too fat to run", etc. I still think I'm too big at 202lbs but I am going to stop trying to talk myself out it and just go for it for once. Thanks for the encouragement! I even bought a new VS sports bra tonight to stop the bounce. And if, I can't do it because I am still too big, or my knees hurt to much, or my asthma flares up (all real possibilities), then so be it! But I am trying to at least give it a try. I keep telling myself that I shouldn't avoid trying something I want to do based on what "could happen." My body is getting smaller physically but I'm still a fat girl with excuses in my head.

I think you have an awesome attitude! I'm 100 lbs away from where you are :/ Bur man I see pics of people who weigh 200 and I swear they look like supermodels to me! I would be thrilled to be where you are :) you should be so proud of your awesome weight loss and it's incredible that you're going after a 5k. You and so many others are such an inspiration for those of us just beginning our journeys. You make it seem very real and very possible that I will be 202 one day :)

Melissa!  You are kicking ass!  You've lost so much weight in six months!  That's freaking awesome.  I also looooove spicy food.  I am all about the jalapenos.  I am so thankful that I can still do spice after RNY.  Your daily menu sounds like something I could totally eat in a day!  Yum!
