DC girl although I have enjoyed reading this thread I haven't commented before today. My support group is about a hr 45 min drive, but committed to attend it monthly. I decided it would be a shopping day. It is in a area that is filled with stores but I am not real familiar with what and where to shop. I don't want to buy clothes yet, but found a center that caught my eye.  As I was leaving I noticed a Trader Joes! there isn't one close to my house and I have always been with other people and felt rushed. I remembered you mentioning many items so had a relaxed time picking up some treats for myself.

Regarding people noticing sometimes it annoys me. I too have a lot to loose but now that I am down 50 pounds I think it should be noticeable. One day someone (who isn't over weight) was talking at work about starting the Atkins diet. I mentioned carbs are my weakness and have therefore cut way back (essentially eliminated as you did) except beans. She asked if I lost any weight, I want to scream, but politely answered "yes" instead of screaming only 50 pounds.

B turkey and cheese "rolls"

S- shake

L 2.5 oz left over sword fish, 0.5 oz shrimp

D- 1.5 oz left over grilled salmon and 1.5 scallops, 1 oopsie roll (thanks for mentioning)

s- probably greek yogurt

before second snack 88 grams protein, 39 grams protein (shake while driving from support group).

water and vitamins on track.

Hey Barb! I'm so glad you went to Trader Joes and were relaxed and enjoyed it! My support group is 1.5 miles from my apt so I commend you for going each month! That's awesome. And now with TJs there, you have extra incentive!

I so so so do not blame you for wanting to scream!!!! I do think when people see us everyday the weight loss isn't as noticeable. I am going to visit old friends in June out if state and I can't wait for them to see me after six months. They damn well better ooh and aah lol!

How was the oopsie roll? I bought the cream cheese and the cream of tartar (which is a POWDER and all the grocery employees were trying to direct me to tartar sauce in the mayo aisle lol) but haven't tried my hand at them yet. I did try tofu shirataki noodles tonight and LOVED them!!! I will do a post just on those!

Hope you are having a great night! Em

Ceithlenn!!! A 6 minute mile?! That is amazing! Also your numbers look good to me but clearly I need to up my protein because some of you that get 90+ g a day are putting me to shame!!! Your menu looks really delicious today!

Thanks. I really really LOVE my avocado lol.

Looking at my protein numbers I decided to try a hot chocolate protein drink instead of the cheese stick (never done it successfully so wish my luck) off to make my paste add another 110 calories and 20 grams of protein :)

I am literally drinking my protein hot chocolate right now! I microwaved 8 oz of unsweetened almond milk and in a separate container I whisked a bit of room temp water with the protein powder and the Swiss miss diet and the Splenda package. Once the milk was mostly warm, I poured in the sludge and whisked constantly. Then I added a shot of Da Vinci sugar free mint syrup. Yum! It's not as hot as I would like it but it's an extra 20 g of protein today :)

i looove avocado too and won a guacamole contest at work last year :) Our C-level executives were the judges. It was a proud moment lol!

Thats awesome! You may have to share that quac recipe some time.  I had SUCCESS with the hot chocolate protein. I did half skim milk and half water because I just ran out of my sugar free coconut milk and just my protein it was sweet and chocolately enough like that.  It tastes so good.
