Lori, that is so sweet of you!  As I told Regina earlier today in a post, I don't feel like an inspiration at 299 but I am inspired by so many people on here.  You must be pre-op ... my advice is keep your eyes on the prize and don't gain now (like I did, having all my "last meals") because that's just more you have to lose after.  Good luck on your journey and once you have surgery come and tell us what you are eating so we can get meal ideas :)

Trying to make up for yet another weekend with sub-par choices. I go back to the doctor next week and I'm hoping they'll ream me out. Seems like I may need to kicked in the a$$ to quit a few bad habits.

Anyway, today I have:

B: hot chocolate (all out of protein and waiting on my new stuff to come in the mail)

S: yogurt with granola

L: BBQ chicken (very little sauce) and spaghetti squash

S: Cheese stick

D: Not sure yet. Either leftover salad or whatever my mother in law makes for dinner

Avery - have you lost 93 lbs in 6 months?  If I look at your surgery date and your ticker, that's what I see.  And that is fricking AWESOME!  Maybe if you share the sub-par choices you eat on the weekends, in a post, people can give you ideas of replacement items?  Do you graze?  Do you eat carbs?  Do you not measure out protein?  It sounds like you are back on track today which is great.  When I do feel tempted by bad things, I just think "The first 12 months is the honeymoon period" and that keeps me in check.  EVERYONE seems to say the weight loss slows after 6 or 9 or 12 months so I want to maximize this time for sure :)  Good that you have protein en route too!  I end up having to do protein shakes to get my protein numbers where they should be.  In fact I am going to go have a Premier Protein shake now, before I go to the gym.  Good job on an awesome menu today!

Thanks! I think my weekend problem is that I do graze. I'm less scheduled and active, so I tend to snack. And once I break a rule (and have a chip or a cracker****ep going. So I need to just have a little more self-control.

One thing that sometimes works is setting a timer. I'll eat, set a timer for 30 minutes. Then when it goes off, I have a drink and set a timer for 2 hours. I can't eat again until then. That helps some.
