Odd NSV - "OMG, what's THIS?!"
Yes, the hip thing! When I sleep on my side, my upper arm is now uncomfortable, because of my hip bone sticking out! Well, ok, it's not exactly "sticking out" just yet, but I can feel the bone underneath, I'm not all soft and squishy there anymore!

Yes, yay!
When I lay on my back, my ribs are visible. So weird to me....and bones freak me out for some reason-so I recoil from them when I feel them. ( maybe why I didn't think to look at names of bones like PHM did...haha. ) I've alllllways gotten squeamish when I see bones jutting out of skin or looking at X-rays. When I had knee surgery and the surgeon was explaining the surgery to me....I almost passed out from hearing him describe things.
Yeah, I'm a weirdo...lol.

We have a firm tempurpedic mattress! The last two nights, I have woken up while turning onto my side cause it pushed on my ribs. This has never happened before!! Congrats to you! I'd never remembered seeing my sternum in my life. My toddler is so skinny (born premature) that it protrudes significantly. I was concerned until my husband told me it was supposed to be there!
