Did anyone else have to go thru this?
by full, i meant they took 9 blood vials out of me. never had that much blood taken for blood test. CBC w/differential, comprehensive Metabolic panel, copper serum, Ferritin, Hemoglobin A1C, Lipid Panel, Magnesium, Manganese, PTH INTACT, Selenium serum, vit. B1, TSH+Free T4, Vit A, Vit. B12 and Folate, Vit. D 25, Vit, E, Zinc.
My post op labs are usually 15-16 vials.

Yep, that's 'nothin, wait till your post op bloodwork when they're checking all your different vitamin levels! I've had 4 rounds of post op bloodwork at this point and each time they take 14 vials. It is quick though, I just make sure I'm hydrated and have a protein bar or something in case I get a little dizzy.
I didn't have as many physicians to get clearance from but only because I didn't have that many. I didn't do a full body scan or an exercise consult.
I don't see you mentioning the test where I had to swallow the nasty fizzy stuff and then be scanned while trying not to burp. Can't remember what they called that awful one.
I had to see the nutritionist individually once a month for 6 months. While I was completeing my mandortory 6 months of supervised weightloss. Which I don't regret as I learned a lot from her. I did have the group meeting.
Do you have to do a 2 week all liquid pre-op diet? That was a blast.
But after the 6 months I was approved by my insurance in a couple of weeks and then in surgery 2 weeks after that. It moves along faster than you think.

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
