Hey Candy - omg thanks for checking in!  You are so absolutely right - I cannot believe I forgot that I need two Citrical petites each dose, and one BA chew.  Do you recommend 3 petites in the morning and 3 petites at lunch and one chew at night?  My first month post-op I was on the wrong calcium so I absolutely want to get this right.  I am a very smart person - not sure why I am struggling with vitamins!  Duh!  So thanks for the reminder/tips.  (just swallowed two petites which are not actually all that petite lol).

That's so awesome that you can maintain without counting.  I am not sure I will ever get to that point.  But if I have to use MFP for the rest of my days, I am ok with that.  So awesome that you are maintaining so well - you inspire the rest of us in the weight loss stage!

I take my multivitamins when I get up, and then 2 hours later 2 citracal pretites, 2 hours later another 2 and then 2 hours later another 2, then right before bed I take another set of multivitamins and my birth control, I don't always end up taking my calcium exactly 2 hours apart but I just make sure it's ATLEAST bean 2 hours.

I recently switched to the citracal petites, and you're right they're not petite at all, and I think the shape of them makes them really hard to swallow

I posted about the size/ shape of the not-so-petites on another thread. I sooo agree with you. They are too THICK, and just oddly shaped. I can take my generic multi with no problem, but those petites? Nope. Not happening!

I woke up in between a memory and a dream...

HERE IS MY SCHEDULE.  I SAVED IT LAST TIME I POSTED IT FOR SOMEONE BECAUSE IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO TYPE LOL  batch 1,2 and 3 have 2 calcium petites in them.  I think you are able to absorb 500 at a time so 3 may not absorb at once. I agree the petites are NOT that small.   If you use you chew at night keep it away from your iron by at least 2 hrs.

I still feel unstable with my food plan, so far so good.  I just wing it, and repeat food choices a lot.

Daily I take my vitamins in 4 batches. Early am, late am, early afternoon and bedtime. This way if I miss one of the first three batches I have time still to make it up at dinner time. I refill all my vitamins every Sunday, and take my b12 sublingual 5000 once a week while filling the containers. It took almost a year to get this down so I feel like I have my vitamins under control!

Batch 1. generic centrum silver, 2 stool softeners, 2 calcium citrate petite

Batch 2. Potassium, magnesium, probiotic, fish oil, 2 calcium citrate petite

Batch 3 generic centrum silver, 2 stool softeners, 2 calcium citrate petite. (3 times a week I include Dry D 3 50000, b50 complex and a vision support vitamin in this batch. )

batch 4. Bedtime. 2 25 mg carbonyl Iron, 500 mg vitamin c, melatonin

most of my vitamins I get at Meier when they are buy one get one free. The probiotic I use is from SAMs club, Phillips colon health. My iron and dry D3 I order from vitalady.com.

I also take another 500 mg calcium citrate most days in the form of either a calcet creamy bite or by adding a scoop of UP cal D (powdered calcium citrate) to a protein shake

Thanks for sharing!  For sure, cut and paste :)

I am from Michigan too and I haven't heard Meier in forever!  Awwwww...memories!  We don't have Meier in the DC area.  I think it's a Michigan chain.

My advice to anyone getting surgery is to make sure their house is spotless so they come home to a clean house :) I am the same way!  That's right, you're off to San Antonio this weekend, or El Paso?  Hope it's a great trip!

If you like peanut butter fudge, order the Bariatric Advantage calcium citrate chews in peanut butter chocolate.  500 mg of calcium and delicious for 15 calories!

Yeap off to San Antonio :). Live in El Paso

Im super OCD about cleaning in general, I hate my house being a mess, and i get to be home all day anyway so I might as well have the house looking nice for when my husband comes home.

I did the calcium chews for awhile, I got tired of them really fast. And they hurt my teeth! But they are pretty good!
