What's on the menu today, RNY-ers?
Haha! My surgeon doesn't mind me drinking coffee, but has commented that I shouldn't drink so much. But he did say that it does count toward my liquid intake. I usually try to exceed the minimum of 64 oz a day, tho, so I don't personally count it...because it inspires me to actually drink more water.
39 degrees and sunshine today! Heat wave for Michigan.
17 months post op
B. 2 cups coffee w sf creamer and Splenda. Lg 32 oz Root beer float protein shake, just one scoop protein powder though.
L. Snow Crab legs
S. Cauliflower casserole. I made it again, I love it
D. I have beef roasts in the crockpot. I threw them in w some red wine, beef broth and veggies around 8 am. They will cook all day. I will remove the meat and blend the rest to make a gravy, I just use a little corn starch.
Yes it is plural (roasts). I have to make 2 to feed my hungry man and teenagers. Mixed veggies to go with it. There should be some leftovers this way for lunch tomorrow. lol
S. Cucumber, carrots and ranch dip.

B: half a protein shake. Couldn't stomach the rest. Drank some skim milk. Then some coffee.
S: Dannon l&f Greek black cherry yogurt.
L: met my mom and boyfriend for lunch at a local Chinese place. Had some egg drop soup, and ate one steamed dumpling. Feeling a little guilty, but it was so tasty.
S: probably the usual old string cheese. May wrap lunch meat on it. I'm feeling kinda crazy!
D: most likely leftover pulled pork with no barbecue sauce.
on track with water, vitamins and exercise.
Dannon light and fit Greek yogurt is thebomb.com!! I freaking love it!!
I woke up in between a memory and a dream...

Almost a month out! Yeah! I finally got to eat something last night (not just protein shakes and greek yogurt). May have been one of the top 10 meals of my life :) after a month and half of nothing but shakes!
B - Premier Protein
L - Premier Protein
D - Eggface Ricotta Bake (SOO good, I seriously can't say enough about this. And I seriously don't know why I ever thought I needed noodles for lasagna, this was so much better. To be fair, I only really ate lasagna for the cheese, so this worked out well for me).

I had egg salad and tuna salad on day one and it was HEAVEN!

L: Leftover salad, 4 whole wheat crackers
