I'm 7 weeks out now and want to start to exercise but I'm always tired and have no energy, is this normal ? should I ask my Dr for any labs to check ?

If you feel abnormal, you should always trust your gut.  But one thing I wanted to say is even though it's hard at first, exercise GIVES you energy!  Start slow!  I am so happy you are trying to add on exercise!  Great job!  Keep your chin up!

It is pretty normal to feel tired and lack energy early out. You just had major surgery and aren't taking in a lot of calories. It will get better.  Didn't you have labs drawn at your 4 wk appointment?

yes, but there is so much I don't understand, and would not know what to look for.

I was super tired at that stage so just walked short distances multiple times a day. It made me feel better (I had complications) to get outside in the fresh air, but I would only walk 5-10 minutes at a time. I felt really weak, but slowly, as you take in more solids and calories, your energy will return and you'll feel better to start a more rigorous exercise program.

I understand how you feel about lacking energy. As others have noted your caloric intake is low. Do what you can, when you can, and start slow. It will come. Personally I was unable to meet enough caloric intake to exercise on a regular basis until month 4. Count each small step as a huge accomplishment.
