DCgirl,

I will try to post tomorrow and Sunday. I hope you have a great trip with your friends this weekend and enjoy the warmth in Mexico. Has your trainer gone over any do yourself or at home things yet? I know when I go without a trainer I do some of the things like Planks, squats, things I feel confident on my form on and make my own mini workout.

Today my neck is still pretty sore so we took it easy training, We just did squats and box jumps so that I didnt engage my should, neck, or arm muscles. I have another appt with the chiropractor, hopefully that straightens it out.

Also the nurse called my blood work was AMAZING except for vitamin D which has been low the whole time I have lived here despite taking tons of supplements.

B- Protein coffee shake - 220 calories - 27 protein

S- coconut greek yogurt with pecans - 200- 18 protein

L- Left over chicken mushroom and broccoli - 198 -25 protein

D- Going out to the Great Dane its a pub for a friends goodbye party I am planning on ordering a cup of their Pork chili verde should be about 300 calories max based on ingredients and say 25 protein

Totals: 918 calories and 90 grams protein

V- adding in the prescription D

W- Doing great on water today

E- because of my neck we only went 30 minutes today. I guess thats better than nothing.

Isn't it funny that you "only" did 30 minutes of training and you're kinda disappointed in yourself?!  Imagine back to your couch potato days (well I am assuming you had those days - I know I did!).  I am bummed for you about your neck, but that's great that you can train despite it!

Yeah, I am more familiar with the machines and stuff, so I think I will use the hotel gym.  I will be in central Mexico City, and by myself, so I am not sure I would want to go walk 2 miles alone outside...especially since it will have to be morning or night.  I committed to going to the gym tomorrow before I drive to Philadelphia, and I will do training Monday before my afternoon flight, and I will do a Wed and Thurs morning workout in Mexico.  I get home Friday and will go to the gym Sat.  That way I still get in four workouts next week.  It's funny how I used to be fine with going months without exercise and now it's all I can think about (well that, and obsessing over my menu of the day lol).

And no pressure for you to do the post tomorrow and Sunday - if you can't, it's no prob!  I didn't mean to call you out like that LOL.

Rest that neck (do you have a heating pad) and have a great time at the pub tonight!

I will be around this weekend so I am happy to start the thread. I am going to be icing it tonight, according to the Dr icing is better for it since its so swollen. I will probably not workout this weekend so that I give it a bit of rest time.

Have a safe trip!

Sorry for everyone that's freezing their butts off, it's 70 something here today. But I'll be complaining in a few weeks because it will be hell.

Anyway, ran 5 miles this morning, it's in my brain to do some push-ups and crunches later on, we'll see if that happens

breakfast: coffee, 2 slices turkey bacon, banana

snack: strawberry peanut butter protein shake

lunch: chicken and Swiss wrap with banana peppers

snack: carrots and cucumbers with garlic hummus

dinner: 4 oz Herb crusted pork tenderloin, roasted asparagus and corn

snack: WW dark chocolate raspberry Popsicle.

Running some errands after I clean up the house, going to try and get to 20,000 steps today, already met 10k

i know exactly what you mean about getting off track when you're not at home. The last few months have been full of travel for me and my husband, from Can****o Virginia, to San Antonio, it's hard for me because I can't take things like my ninja with me, and both of our families aren't on the greatest diets. And who doesn't want to go to their favorite restaurants when they haven't been home in a year and a half? It's hard, you'll probably do way better than me though! Mommmm craving the salsa we had in Cancun now!

That's so awesome that you did 10,000 steps already!  And if you get crunches and sit-ups in, even better!  Sorry to make you crave salsa!  Between the mention of Qdoba and the mention of salsa, I may have to have some spicy chicken or shrimp for dinner now!

Yes, you get the benefit of 70 degree March but I would hate to be in Texas in August!  I am also a hot weather complainer so just wait a few months and I will be posting about how being in DC feels like being inside someone's hot, wet, mouth!

I wish!  I take two calcium petites twice a day...and at night I "splurge" and have a Bariatric Advantage caramel 500 mg calcium citrate chew (I say splurge, because it has 15 calories and 3 or 4 carbs which is why I don't have it three times a day though I wish I could - it's so delicious!)

I gotcha. I was going to be jealous if you only had to take 2
