What's on the menu today, RNY-ers?

Good morning, OH friends!  It's another snowy day in DC.  I went to the dermatologist and the dentist and was still at the office by 10:30 - my FitBit tells me I walked 1.25 miles just tromping around the city going to appointments.  So that puts a smile on my face, even if my hair is terrible from the snow ;)

Time Since Surgery: 10 weeks, 2 days

B: 4 tbsp egg whites, one slice of cheese, one piece of thick turkey bacon

L: 2.5 oz of rotisserie chicken leftover from last night, a few bites of roasted brussels sprouts

D: 3 oz of rotisserie chicken

S: Some sort of protein shake or I will never make my numbers

V: Morning vits in.  Definitely gonna try the Upcal dissolving calcium citrate because the "petite" pills are killing me, and the Bariatric Advantage 500 mg chews are freaking delicious but 15 calories and 4 g of carbs so I allow myself only one a day (at night)

E: 1.25 miles walked this morning, and I plan to do 2 miles walking 3.1 on the treadmill after work.  2nd day off after 3 personal training sessions and I am still sore.

W: I struggled yesterday so I have to do better today!  Yesterday I probably just barely made 64 oz.

Random question - according to MyFitnessPal, seasoned rotisserie chicken has WAY more calories than say, Trader Joe's grilled chicken.  I am eating the breast meat without the skin.  Do you think 3 oz is really 170 calories, without skin?

B:egg whites with a thin sausage patty on a bread round/only ate half

S:some peanut butter

L:?

D:Taco salad with steak and beans

Vitamins are in.Exercise going down to the wood pile loading the wood and lugging it back to the house.Put trash out I know that sounds silly but we have a pretty long driveway. Snow looks like it is going to stop and the sun is trying to come out.

Carrying wood up a long driveway sounds like a good workout to me!  I hope the sun succeeds there...it's stopped snowing here and is just cold.  People in the Mid-Atlantic are wimpy!  We get 2 inches of snow and all the schools cancel :)

I just load the wood in a wagon and pull it.But I used to only be able to carry two logs at a time. Now I can carry a lot more.

around 140 calories for 3 oz.,  they must include some skin in the 170 but it is close.

Thanks, Candy!  So sweet of you to do research for me :)  Yeah so that is close.  Ugh, I wonder why my Trader Joe's package of grilled chicken clocks in at 34 calories per ounce, so three ounces is less than 100 calories.  Grrr!  http://www.calorieking.com/foods/calories-in-packaged-meals- roasted-rosemary-boneless-chicken-breast_f-ZmlkPTE2NTE1Nw.ht ml

A lot of prepared chicken products have broth/stocked added to them that make them heavier--in turn, fewer calories per ounce but probably slightly lower grams of protein per ounce as well.

It comes down to a simple question: what do you want out of life, and what are you willing to do to get it?

Damn Kenyatta, your lunch and dinner sound awesome.  I haven't moved on to salads, broccoli or cauliflower yet.  I will go back to my doc and NUT next month and see what stage I have moved in to.  Other than brussels sprouts (which I am obsessed with) I have really stuck to protein. I do know I need to fit back in veggies, but I only get to 65-70 g of protein a day eating ALL protein so I am nervous about incorporating non-protein foods lol.  I will figure it out.  I have never in my life made over 100 g of protein in a day.  Rock star, you!  Feel better :(

Thank You!!!! It depends on the protein wheather or not I can eat veggies with it. Shrimp and fish I can have veggies but chicken, beef, pork its hard to eat veggies.
