I think everrrrrryone is ready for Spring!  But just wait, I will be complaining how hot and humid it is all summer long in DC lol.  The plight of living in a city built on a swamp...

I may turn some of my leftover rotisserie chicken into chicken salad and eat it on a cheese crisp tomorrow.  Thanks for the inspiration!  Yum!

You're so funny, Laura!  We won't judge you for a few tbsp of white rice!  I am actually envious that you can have white rice and not just fall off the wagon and eat 10 cups of it!  That is my big fear so that's why I steer clear.  I am a carb-o-holic but I certainly would never judge someone else for eating carbs.  Remember, I had surgery at 351 lbs so I have to be more extreme in what I DON'T eat lol.  Enjoy your lunch and dinner - it sounds delish :)

We share our love of brussels sprouts!  I make mine in the oven with a little olive oil, sea salt, garlic and crushed red pepper.  I loooove them so.  Great job on making it to goal!!!

Try adding some balsamic viniger to the Brussels sprouts before roasting.

Breakfast  banana with peanutbutter

Lunch  grilled chicken salad

Snack  greek yogurt

Dinner  ham and cheese lettuce wraps

I will probably do a snack after dinner, but I haven't decided what yet.

Exercise:  30 minute core class, 60 minutes weights, 40 minute run.  I wanted a longer run but it started pouring.  Between the high wind and rain it was nasty.

I love seeing daily menus that don't include protein shakes :)  It gives me hope!  Your workout schedule never fails to amaze.  You are inspiring me to do more!

I usually do a protein shake for breakfast mostly because it is quick and easy. It seems to be the best thing right before I workout. I made the mistake of doing oatmeal with walnuts before a 10 k I was running. My blood sugar crashed in the middle of it. No more carbs first thing in the morning for me
