What's on the menu today, RNY-ers?

I tend to get depressed when I compare my loss to others but I do it all the time :) Re: our losses, I started at a higher weight than you AND I have more to lose. My goal is 170 which is still a high weight for my height-I am 5'4". Also I gained right up until my pre-op diet so I didn't have loss (I have read that people who are already eating sensibly may lose less immediately after surgery because their body isn't in shock as much as mine was haha) I always have to tell myself that people lose at different rates. Kenyatta, who posts here often, eats way less than me at 14 months out and considers herself a slow loser but is steadily going down and down. So please don't feel like your loss isn't good - 40 lbs in 3 months is pretty badasss if you ask me :)

i do like the feeling after I exercise but not so much before and during. I force myself to go. In fact since I only went twice this week I am going to go again now (after all I am just in a hotel at the airport so what else do I have to do?). I'm also terrified to weigh myself after my guacamole binges this week :( Maybe you can drink a protein shake and muster up the energy sometime soon? I think for long term success I have to incorporate exercise into my life. But I have seen others on OH who never exercise.

Have a good night!

My taste has changed a great deal since surgery.  I'm no longer of fan of sweets except my yogurt, but even that is ONLY Yoplait 100 calorie greek...I despise potatoes in any form post op...I now love all things spicy.  Instead of the pepper shaker, I put red pepper flakes, cayenne, or jalapenos on most everything!

Sorry you fell! I hope you're ok? :( Your menu is always so damn sensible. You are really using this tool in a major way! Congrats!

Thank you.  I am a slow loser, but I keep telling myself that slow and steady wins the race.

Hey Kenyatta! I hope things are good with your fiancée!

I haven't been to Cheesecake Factory since surgery but I always loved it. I will have to go look at their skinnylicious menu! I totally believe it's still a huge portion! But yum-enjoy!!!
