Out of Kilter

Have you checked the restaurants you'll be eating at this week and asked what they offer 'off menu' as well? I have to travel for work and sometimes end up with 3 meals a day catered or brought in and can relate to the ease in which you can get out of whack when on the road.
While at home I will work out/run based on whatever my daily schedule dictates, when I travel, I get up earlier than normal and do my workout before I ever get ready for the office so I know that no matter what happens that day...I got that in.
When we're going to a largely carb hound place, like a pasta house, I call ahead and find out what they can do without any carbs or sugars. I have yet to find a restaurant that doesn't have something that works really well for me...and sometimes others at the table want what I order after they hear it. :)
You go...you've got this!! :)

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
I had to work out of town four weeks post op. I found my go-to dinner to be shrimp. Some restaurants had scampi, casual restaurants had Cesar salad with shrimp and I was able to get just the shrimp. I has cups of soup at other meals. Those meals of three grilled shrimp were most filling and tasty!
You will do well with your restaurant choices and a few yogurts in your hotel mini fridge.
