It wasn't on mine, and I didn't try to eat ground meats till Week 4 - sometimes, depending on how dry it is, can be irritating.

It's also irritating ground beef has gone up to $5.00 per pound.

Ground meat isn't considered a soft food.  I'm not allowed beef until 3 months post op.  I've actually had a little bit and I foresee I'm likely to have a problem of nausea with it. Everyone's plan is different.  It's your choice but I'd be a bit careful doing it.

My doc said No Bueno.  I waited until six weeks... and then only turkey - I'm not allowed beef until four months out.

every surgeon is different.  when I advanced from liquids to soft food at 3 weeks, ground beef was allowed.  my first meal was a Wendys chili. I was able to eat about 1/2 of it.

My doc said ground beef was ok, started on it three weeks out and I tolerated it easily.

I had a harder time with ground beef at first. Deli meats went down easier than ground meat.
