Have the baby (or babies) you can get a tummy tuck/breast reduction any time (when finances allow) - I had a son at 28 and then another (surprise!) at 41 and would heartily recommend doing it at the younger, rather than older age!

Best of luck with whatever you choose - you are obliged to post pictures whichever way you decide

You will never regret being a baby into the world.  If it still doesn't happen, look into adoption.  I've had and adopted.  You will be smoking hot in a 1 piece.  Best of luck to you.

Sounds like you've always wanted a baby.  Definitely have your baby first and then opt for plastic surgery if you still want it.  Altering your breasts could also affect milk production, too. So I would hold off on the breast reduction as well.   Nursing was really important to me with my babies. Who knows-you may decide you'd like more than one baby!!

Best of luck to you!

I had 2 babies within 16 months delivered via c section! I've got lots of stretch marks and while my c section incision is barely visible, it is there! So if it were me, I would definitely have children before having a tummy tuck and breast reduction because you will gain weight during the pregnancy and stretch out your skin and also there is a possibility that you won't be able to breastfeed after a reduction!  If you want to breastfeed, you don't want to take that chance!

From one PCOSer to another, I feel your pain...I had to do all the fun fertility treatments and IVF 6 years ago in order to get preggers and I'm glad I did! Fast forward 6 years, I had the sleeve, Im losing weight, but my period never returned...my esestrogen is lower than ever and there is no way I could ever get pregnant at this point..I guess my point is, if you are 100% certain that you'regcgcchc ready to have a baby, I say go for it..this damn disorder is such a mystery and who knows where you're body, hormones, etc will be at years from now...I'm so fortunate that I didnt wait..I've go beautiful 5 year old twins to show for it...lots of luck to you 😊

Hi Kissypoo83,

I have been thinking about your post. A lot of people have provided a lot of different responses to you. I think some people may have misinterpreted your post.

As I read it, you love kids, have always wanted to have kids, but medical issues have kept you from reaching this dream. Now that you have had surgery and lost weight, your period is regular and there may be a chance that you could get pregnant. However, you have a hard time believing this because you have been down this road before, where doctors said this would work, or that would work. I don't blame you for being skeptical.

Now that you have lost weight, you would like to get a tummy tuck. So the question is, what if you get pregnant?? I would recommend getting the tummy tuck after pregnancy because I am sure the pregnancy would undo any work that was done.

So, it sounds like you have to decide how long to wait? You could set a specific time/age that you are willing to wait to get pregnant. I think you said you were 30 now, so, say you pick 35. You would wait unti you are 35 before getting a tummy tuck. If at 35, you still have not gotten pregnant, then you could go ahead with the tummy tuck, because that is the age you picked that you would not want to have children after anyways.

I don't know if this helps or not, but, I hope so. I have a close friend with fertility issues and I remember her doctor saying that couples really need to pick a date that is the end of trying to get pregnant. Otherwise, the whole process takes over everything in your life and sometimes ruins marriages. When I met my husband (we both had previous relationships and kids) we decided to try until my 36th birthday. If it worked, it worked. If not, we would be done with it and move on to other options. It sounded to me like this advice could work for you too.

Good luck!
