Good Morning Everyone!  I'm in a real slow down (I won't call it a stall, because I'm losing, but I'm only losing a 1 lb a week).  Of course I'm a little freaked out that this is my new normal, and at only 2.5 months out, I hope that I will lose a little faster (at least until the 6 mo. mark).  I've done some searches on the forums and it seems like "stalls" around this time are common, so I just need to suck it up and be patient.  Still, if anyone has any advice or words of encouragement, I'd love to hear it.  For some reason, I'm more frustrated today than I have been the last 2 weeks (when this started).  I'm also upping my protein, I've been at 55 -65 the last 4 days and I know I should be closer to 80.

2.5 months since surgery

B - Greek Yogurt w/ Chia Seeds

S - Premier Protein Shake

L - Left over chipotle bowl -1/4 (I'm with you DCgirl, I never know how long left overs can last)

D - Premier Protein Shake

W - My goal today is to get to 80oz, so far I'm on track

V - Forgot them at home, but I'll get them all in

E - Going to try and do an hour of zumba tonight

Totals: Cals: 679; Carbs -41; Protein- 91; Fat - 19

Have a great day everyone!

Ugh I hate slow losing and plateaus :(  Sorry to hear of your frustration.  It's hard to be eating under 700 calories and not be losing more!  Keep up what you are doing (great job on protein today!) and for me, low carb helps.  Your carbs aren't high so I would recommend you stay the course!

Thanks Ocalasam. I had RNY 06/09 and stomach and colon revision 11/13 which started my 800 calorie quest and loss from 148 lbs. to 123 lbs. so far. I am 5'4. I am eating some Nutrisystem meals with my husband right now. They have their nutritional information incorporated in Myfitnesspal.com and I use it as my food diary for this site, too. I just cut and paste it onto page. I drink my water but do not log it everyday. I love Wylers and Crystal light. I am working on ways of getting my protein up. I went to the store and bought some salmon, tuna creations, canned chicken, and string cheese yesterday. I did something stupid by thinking the Fast 5 would work for me and it did not. So I now have got to get my protein up. I should have known better but I thought it would work for me. It is working for my husband which is good. I am glad he is being successful. My body is not able to handle a diet like that anymore. SO please NO SHAMING! I have done enough of that already! I bought the program and hid it from my husband for 5 days. Then, I had to tell him because I felt so ashamed. He was more concerned about my health and that I wanted to be smaller not about the money. I rambled to say how desperate I am to jump start my body into losing again. Now, I plan on slowly raising my protein and water intake to see if that helps. Thanks for reading and giving your support and not your criticism. I need any encouraging suggestion you can send.

Still trying to tweak my menu here & there to add new things. I am 8 1/2 months from surgery and down 90 lbs. Weighing in at 160 (finally not embarrassed to post it) and "my" goal is 155, so I am so close. Weight loss has always been very, very slow from the beginning so I just keep chugging along and try not to compare myself to others. Hope everyone enjoys the Spring weather we are having and to brag (just a tiny bit) tomorrow I'm a going to be one "PROUD" mama as my son will be pitching his baseball game at Pittsburgh Pirates PNC major league field. He is playing in a amateur tournament game but what a once in a lifetime experience ! We are excited beyond anything !

B:  Chocolate protein shake w/Soy Lite Milk, sugar free Caramel syrup

S:   FiberPlus Protein bar - mixed nut

L:  Steak pieces, steamed cauliflower

D:  Steak pieces, mushrooms, onions - w/Worchetshire to dip in

S:  ( 1/2 ) Dannon Lit n Fit Greek Yogurt w/nuts & a few cranberries mixed in

W:  On track and also added 2 Diet Noni Berry Snapple's

V:  Suck but one more round to go

E:  Treadmill today - to windy here for me to walk, been "freezing" lately and don't want to deal with the wind (I'm a wimp)

Take care all

Food Diary For: 6 weeks 3 Days Post Op

That 40 lb mark is still hiding from me. I had to take a realistic look it. When was the last time I lost 39 lbs.? When was the last time I lost 39 lbs. in 6 weeks??? I am wearing clothes that I haven’t worn in 2-3 years! I will keep watching my diet and I will keep moving. I do need to find more time and courage to get back into the gym.   I have no idea why this is so hard for me! I used to be a complete gym rat.   I had my first real attack of the “Foamies” last night! OMG!! They SUCK!!! All I had for dinner was 2 oz of chicken thighs it was soft food I think I chewed it well and ate slow, but I guess not. Don’t want that to happen again! I will spend most of this afternoon and evening at my sons track meet. I should be able to get my water today just out of boredom!

EM My first shipment from Gwynnie bee arrived! LOVE IT!!!!! I will wear everything I got! I can’t wait for the next shipment!! Thanks for turning me on to this!
