Legs hurt
Magnesium will probably only help if you have a magnesium deficiency that is causing your legs to hurt. You can ask your doc to order a blood test to see if that's the case.
But it sounds like you think the problem is not getting enough liquids. Taking magnesium won't help if that is the issue. The only thing that would help in that case is getting more liquids.

what if you tried getting one 12-ounce cup in by, say 10 am, the second by 1 pm, the third by dinner time, and then two more after dinner? Or worked out some sort of schedule so you didn't get to the end of the day and find yourself short.
Are you counting liquid in things like protein shakes or soup or popsicles?
