Sandra, I vote to donate it all!  You know you won't be back to your old size because this isn't a diet.  It's how you will eat for the rest of your life.  Tasty, protein-forward meals, with much less carbs and lower calories and smaller portions.  You are gonna rock this pouch so get rid of 'em!  It's very liberating!  Some people save an old pair of jeans so they can reach goal and fit both legs into one pants leg, but I said to hell with it and am giving it all away!  :)

agree with you and Pam, DONATE IT!  I don't want any reminders thank you very much of how obese I was, as soon as it does not fit its gone out of the house.  And Emily you said that so perfect.  This IS NOT A DIET, its a REST OF YOUR LIFE.  low calories, low carbs, high protein, follow the rules and all is good.  Thanks for saying that!!

I agree with Emily. Give it away! You don't need that safety net, you got this. I'm saving one pair of jeans, everything else goes! I just threw out all my old size 22-24 panties and band size 44 bras. Not going back there!

Good evening friends! Home from work and finally sitting down. I work 10 hour days but because of that I do get an extra day off during the week. Well worth it. 5 weeks post op today and my second day of real food, not pureed. So far so good! Menus is below. I am a little concerned about the calories

That trip to Chicago sounds great. My old neck of the woods. I grew up in Griffith Indiana, just over the line in Indiana. My mom still lives there. Speaking of Polish...I am not of Polish descent but my husband is so he says I am Polish by injection---Good Lord! The food is great though!

Happy Friday to all! Safe trip, Em.

Good to see you checking in, Kim! And don't worry if you're "only" "Polish by injection", as long as you can polka, you're golden! (Hint: EVERYONE can polka!)

Nice protein total for the day!
