Need energy to WORK...

Hi Mrs. D, I'm a little ahead of you at (almost) 7 weeks post op and honestly I'm just now starting to feel my pre-op energy. As you said, you're not eating much yet and your body is still recovering from major surgery. 

My surgeon did not recommend more than walking until at least 6 weeks and I didn't feel up to more than that, even though I wanted to. As some have suggested, you might want to slow down on this working out and focus on getting your protein in, walking some, and resting up so you ARE ready to head back to work.

Thanks everyone for your support, and responses. I am trying everyday to get a little bit better.. rest when I need to. ANd go when I can!! Still taking a pharmacist supply of supplements, but that is our life now ... :)

I needed to nap for 2+hours a day for 3weeks then  they took me off my blood pressure meds and I felt much better!  It comes back!

I think it is coming back slightly!!! It is just so weird how it all falls together... patience is key I guess.. :)
