I started eating raw veggies and salads at 3 months and haven't had any problems. I always throw a few grape tomatoes on my salads now.

You should follow the plan laid out by your surgeon.

When in doubt, ask your NUT :-)

On my plan, I could not have raw veggies until 3 months - so to me, 7 weeks seems early.  You are still healing.  I started eating raw veggies after three months, trying a little bit at a time.  I have not had any issues, and am so glad now that the temps are warming up to be eating raw veggies, spinach and field greens salads, etc.  If you can't eat them yet - you will soon be able to!

Thanks everyone I will call my nut and ask her.  I can have iceberg lettuce and seedless cucumbers, which I have not tried yet.

Update, I talked to my nut and she said I could have tomatoes, but they have to be peeled.  Salsa is fine to eat.
