Aww, thank you, Sandra! That's so nice of you to say. I've never, ever lost this much at one time, I have to admit...hopefully I can keep it up and take off the rest!

Em  you will get to your goal too because that is a reasonable goal for your height and you are making sensible decisions and holding yourself accountable. I think that is a big key. I journal every day and count everything I eat. I'm not a techie type person so my journal is a notebook with a pen attached. It works for me though! Anny that is neat about your dress! I found that often when the scale was being stubborn I would change clothing sizes. You two are both doing great at embracing new habits each and every day!

Morning ladies. I got up super early (well 6, which is super early for me) to take hubby to work. Laundry is going and going to get the dishes done soon.... Can't believe how much I have gotten done already lol! I do t know why I have to power clean before I leave town! This may be TMI but hubby wanted some "lovin" yesterday and all I could think about everything we needed to pack and do before we left! Poor guy!

Em- you have lost so much weight in a short amount of time and your body is trying to rebalance which is why you are having the dizzy spells. (I think......) I remember having them around that time frame. With your weight slowing down I think it's time to up the calories. I know it's scary and seems odd but you can't live on 600! Lol I was a bad RNYer I was eating crackers in the bargaining (on my plan...) so I don't have the best info but that's just my take on it. It will be interesting to see what your NUT says.

My eats for the day:

breakfast: 2 eggbites ham and swiss! With a touch of sour cream. 3 slices of apple and my coffee. Going to make another cup soon.

lunch: think I'm going to make a salad with turkey and cheese. Maybe throw on some bacon...

Dinner: not sure since we will be on the road. I think an Asian salad

snacks: string cheese, Greek yogurt and a protein shake.

totals: (without dinner) cals:828  protein:70  carbs:44

v: in a sec

w: none yet..... I will really have to stay on top of it while I'm gone

e: taking a break today, last nights class was hard! I am so sore and didn't want to sit in a car for 8 hours after a good workout. And I'm going to be doing ALOT of walking this weekend! (Going to take my iPod to track my steps)

well I don't think I will be posting this weekend but I will be checking in and on Tuesday I'll post pictures! Enjoy the rest of the week and have a great holiday.

Hey Janessa!  LOL @"hubby wanted some loving and all I could think about was how much I had to get done"!  I am totally a planner and completely get this.  Maybe if he was packing up 3 people and a house for a trip, he would also not be in the mood!  Ha ha ha.

I hear ya on not wanting to do a class eight hours after your last class and then sitting in the car all day!  Have SO much fun on the trip, you will walk a TON, and then post pics on Tuesday for sure!!!

Breakfast: Hard boiled egg and 2 oz of sharp cheddar cheese, eaten at room temp. SO CREAMY AND YUMMY!

Lunch:1/2 cup Chicken, broccoli, almonds, celery seeds, and mayo salad- SO GOOD! I used to make this pre RNY with a rotini pasta-I missed it so much. I just re-made it without the pasta and doubled up on the almonds.

Snack: Premier Protein Shake CHOCOLATE

Dinner: 1/2 cup of pulled pork

Fluids: 64 oz minimum each day I usually go over that each day

I also made a bone broth. I simmered up a stock pot full of chicken quarters, peppercorns, and garlic. Strained it all and now I try to have a mug or two in the evening. A great way to get more fluids in.

Vitamins: On track!

I am 5 months out.

Have a great day!

Hey Lisa!  Welcome to the post!  So glad you are joining :)  Your menu looks scrumptious.  You are clearly a savory person, like me!  And we are almost surgery sisters and you are only 33 lbs from goal!  So awesome!  You must feel great.

Your bone broth sounds good - I am way less ambitious and I use Miner's Chicken Base - it's salty and delicious and now you have made me decide that I will have a mug tonight with some unflavored protein powder added in.  Thanks for the idea!

Thanks so much! I enjoy reading about what everyone is eating. AND how everyone is enjoying this wonderful tool.

Bone broth is so good for you and it is very easy to make. Last week I made beef broth. There are tons of articles on the web about the health benefits.

I also want to add that I do exercise.

However, I am sick with a chest cold and have not felt like doing my normal walking routine. :)
