Em your weight loss is amazing. You should be so proud of yourself. It is kind of exciting to add new food to our diet.I craved veggies all the time and I can eat raw ones thank goodness.I just have to chew really well.
My grandfather turns 100 this weekend and there is a party.I will eat before I go.My family really is clueless on having parties.Long story. All of my cousins know now that I had surgery my mother I am sure blabbed her mouth and told everyone. So it will be interesting. I am nervous.
B:Eggs scrambled
L:Corned beef
D:Egggplant lasagna made without noodles and has chicken sausage.Never ate it last night went to dinner and had fish.Should have ate what I made.
S:not sure what I may snack on.Maybe a cheese stick or yogurt.
I love staying in hotels that are really nice.My daughter and I love it.We never leave the hotel we just hang out.
LOL 3BH! My mom told everyone too - but I am fine with that. When I see my entire extended family at my brother's wedding in September I know they will all be commenting but I want to show them a success story after WLS. There are certainly a few other people in my family who would benefit from WLS and maybe it will make them consider it. I had never known anyone to have surgery and now I wish I had, so I would have considered it earlier in life. Hold your head up high and tell them about the tool you have and how much work you are putting in to cook healthy protein-forward meals and exercise. Please don't be ashamed - you are doing great and you can spend the time at the party chatting with everyone instead of eating :)

I am not ashamed. It is hard to take compliments sometimes.I know that sounds silly but it is for me. I have four cousins who have had WLS and they are doing well with it.
I have a wedding next week with my husbands side of the family and they have know idea I had WLS. I was going to call some of them but it is too much trouble.I will tell the truth if it comes up. I hate hiding it.But I just hate being on the topic all night with some people's questions. I will survive.I bought a beautiful dress and I can't wait to wear it.It is very retro.
Hopefully you will post a pic after the wedding! It will be great to go to a wedding and be stunning in a beautiful dress! When people comment and compliment me (which is now FINALLY happening more and more but I actually love it lol) I always say "Oh thanks! Yeah, I had a procedure in December and since then i have had no carbs and no alcohol and I am going to the gym 4 or 5 times a week! I feel good, thanks for noticing". And I leave it at that. No one ever asks more. Looks like the next few weeks will be pivotal for you - you will see people from both sides of your family and then it won't be something you have to dread :)

I haven't seen anyone in my husbands family since Christmas so it will be weird.I haven't seen part of my family since Christmas also.
I just need to say thank you and walk away. You always are so nice.
Here is a link to my dress. I never loved a dress like this one. I know I am silly sometimes.
