What's on the menu today, RNYers?
Good morning follow Menu-Posters! It started out as a lovely and sunny day here, got my walk in, but now it is raining cats and dogs and miserable. Such strange weather. Just spent 2+ hours in a strategic planning meeting - eeek!
I got a new hair style last night and I love it! My stylist is awesome, I just said "I need something different" and she did it.
Anxiously awaiting a box from Netrition - I ordered Matrix Peanutbutter Cookie, so I can't wait to try it tonight. I did some comparison on price and shipping and I highly recommend trying out Netrition.com, all. The Matrix and Nectar were all $3ish cheaper than other places and the shipping is a flat $4.95 or free with larger orders.
Time since surgery: 10 weeks, yesterday, but I forgot that!

This morning I had a shopping fail I used to stop at Kohl's on my way in to wor****asionally, like when I didn't have anything I felt like wearing and I'd just...buy something new! It was awesome, a store I liked that opened at 8am. Well they don't anymore and therefore I'm wearing shoes I do not like...I was going to get new black sandals, damnit! Oh well, I'll try again this evening.

The hair! Let's see it!
About the shopping, man, I can't relate to that yet! Years of having so much trouble finding clothes and shoes that just plain fit have conditioned me to never plan on being able to walk into a store and walk out with something wearable. Counting on getting shoes on the fly would have been the same as me saying "I'll just stop and pick up a bucket of unicorn poop before I head into work." Yeah, not happening!
PS, I used unicorn poop just because it was an excuse to post this gif:

Lord only knows why today I can't get a photo to post, but here's a link to a selfie I took last night post-cut: http://goo.gl/wTh1uC. I don't think I've ever had short bangs, but I'm loving them!
If you don't shop at Kohl's already, I seriously recommend them! Everything is always on sale and there is a nice women's department in which everything is not ugly and dumpy and frumpy! It is very rare that I don't leave there with something I like.
And, Pam, OMG, I just noticed your ticker - 99 pounds lost! That is soooooooo amazing, I hope you're feeling super proud of yourself!

That cut is SO CUTE!! Very nice job by your stylist, and look at you rocking the short cut!
I'll have to check out Kohl's, definitely. I meant to get over there sometime on the weekend and never made it, but it seems it would be worth my while to check out.
Thanks for noticing my ticker, but shhhh! Be vewwy qwiet! I'm hunting 100 pounds lost!
(Seriously, though, thank you! Yeah, I do feel pretty good about it, but what IS is about a nice, round number? Want!!)

Thanks for the netrition hint! I have never ordered from them. You will have to let us know how the pb flavor is. Amazing, I am sure!
I just did some major damage at DSW on Monday. Lots of super cute sandals! Check it out :)
I agree with Kohls - my workout pants are Marika Magical Balance in 1X and they are SO flattering and fabulous and I order them online for like $24!!!
