MFP and Supplements

For those who use My Fitness Pal, do you count any calories from your supplements?  I purchased all "chew" type supplements before surgery to take for the first 90 days.  This has helped me since im only 6 weeks out but its 220 calories for everything!  Yikes!  I try to keep my calories to 600-800 per day, but with the added supplement calories I either end up hungry or my total is pushed up to 900-1000.

Do you count them?  I am working out and tracking with a fit bit (love it!) and I don't let myself get hungry.  Maybe im worrying too much about the numbers.  The weight is still coming off and Im feeling good!

I wont be buying all chews again once these are gone!  :)

I don't use MFP and don't regularly track calories, but when I track them, I track everything.  Why wouldn't you count them?  Those calories do get absorbed just like any other calories.

I do track them on MFP. You can look me up there if you like, my username is christylhall. I made a separate meal called "Vitamins" and then it is very easy to add them every day. I have a combo of soft chew and regular chewable vitamins and swap them around so I don't get tired of one flavor. At my current stage (5 weeks out) the calories and carbs from my vitamins can sometimes be more than a meal, so it's important to me to have that included in my daily totals.

I count them 53 calories every day. 220 seems like way too many. I'd find another option.

I also use MFP. I track all my vitamins -- the additional benefit is that it makes sure I don't forget.

I don't always track.  But when I do, I do include my supplements, which is 50 calories.

I was MFP religiously. Just the other day I was looking at my friend's MFP and notice she tracks her vitamins so now I do, too. It just makes sense.
