What with the focus on protein we RNYers have, I figured you may appreciate Alton Brown telling you how to grill a delicious skirt steak. Watch the video here!

He can also tell you how to make stinky dog treats, tie a bow tie, and saber a bottle of champagne. A true Renaissance man!

I love Alton Brown too!!!!! We do all sorts of strange things in my kitchen because of him!! in fact, my husband just bought an electric kettle so we can make hard boiled eggs a la Alton.

Pam just wanted to say Congrats on losing over 100 lbs. ! I love watching food shows and was wondering if that would change after my surgery. Guess I will still be watching ! Yay

Thank you, Mama Dee! It's been quite the ride so far, I have to admit.

Having WLS has not changed my love of cooking shows one bit! The only thing different is that when I watch them now, I'm constantly thinking "How can I modify that to make it WLS friendly?"
