3BH, I'm so glad you've posted a picture of yourself. You look great, and that dress is fabulous! I'm glad you had a great time at the wedding.

Good Morning Everyone, sounds like everyone had really nice weekends.  Em, you can totally loose 33 lbs in 73 days, what an awesome birthday goal!  I'm convinced that upping my cals is key for scale movement.  It was my bday this weekend and friends and family had an awesome bbq for me.  I stayed on plan in that I ate protein first, but I did have some birthday cake (it was really birthday mousse), I only had 2 bites b/c I was already stuffed, but it put my cals at 1150 for the day.  I was freaking out and then I lost 1.5 lbs this morning, it was a bday miracle.  I think that sometimes we need to shock our bodies (of course sometimes we need to shock them by going down too, so it's just a matter of balance).  Anny, I'm with Em, you have a great propensity to be around hot men, if I lived anywhere near PA, I would beg you to hang out :)  3bassethounds, sounds like a great wedding, and dancing all night is a huge NSV victory!  The farther along I get in this process, the more I'm able to really appreciate the NSV in a way I couldn't early on b/c I was SO obsessed with the scale moving.

Time since surgery 4 months and almost 2 weeks

B - Greek yogurt with 1/2 C of blueberries

L - Flank Steak & asparagus

S - 100 Cal walnut/almond pack

D - TBD (I'm thinking a portabella mushroom pizza)

V/W - On track

E - Kickboxing DVD and maybe some time on the bike

Have a great day everyone!

The thing about the hot men is I'm around them but never get to TALK to them. I need to work on that!

Happy belated, Dodgergirl!  Your awesome bbq sounds so fun!  And thanks for the vote of confidence that I can make it to Onederland by late August...I am crossing my fingers!

I am like you - when I up my calories a bit I lose.  Go figure.  I definitely do NOT want to starve myself and end up with low calories for maintenance!!!!

Happy Belated Birthday, dodgergirl! Sounds like you had a great weekend, good for you! NSVs are great, aren't they? I almost look forward to those moreso than SVs these days.

Sounds like everyone had good weekends and didn't go too far astray. Em your few crackers and hummus were a far better choice than what you would have eaten before surgery. I am dumbstruck when are go out to eat at a buffet now with how much people eat. Until I stop and think what I used to eat prior to surgery. I know what you mean about having to keep certain foods out of the house. That's the way I am with baked things like muffins and rolls. Crackers I can do a few--muffins not so much! I still love to bake so now I bake for others or to take to a meal at someone else's house. For instance at Thanksgiving and Christmas I make my homemade yeast rolls. I have a bit maybe three bites of one and the leftovers go to other homes. If I brought them home I would eat every last one! For today: B 1/2 csteel cut oats with nut and seed mix and 1/2 banana with peanut butter L 3oz left over strip steak and 1/2 c sweet potatoes  S whole grain crackers with peanut butter D 31/2 oz pork loin grilled and 1/2 c sweet potatoes S 3/4 c Greek yogurt. On track with fluids and vitamins so far. Weight today 120.2 pounds at 21.5 months post op. Hard to believe that I am down 140 pounds. Probably more than that actually, because I didn't weigh when I was at my heaviest. Exercise done for the day with a three mile walk with Lily and 20 minutes on the bike. Will also do 200 crunches before bed. Have a good Monday everyone!

Hi Karen!  120 lbs!  You are minuscule!  So awesome :)  I can't believe you lost over half of you!

I know...it's funny...we all have those trigger foods...I am ok without baked goods since RNY, and especially sweets, but tortilla chips - those are my kryptonite!
