Hi Everyone,

Good morning from the steamy capitol city.  It was 81 when I got up at 7 am.  This would have been SO much worse when I weighed over 300 lbs (this is what I tell myself so I don't melt).

I have been fortunate on this journey and haven't had any looong stalls yet.  As of today, I realized I am 21 lbs from Onederland and 51 lbs from my personal goal of 170.  I may end up revising that goal - when I had surgery at 351 even the concept of 170 was INSANE but now as I slowly head that way, I feel like I will see how I feel and look at that weight and then decide.  Funny how I speak about it in terms of WHEN I reach that, and not IF.  This tool...what a new lease on life.

I mentioned the other day that I got a new job.  Today is clean out my office day - and I have been here for four years so you can imagine there is a lot to pack up!  My colleagues are circling like vultures LOL.  I do have a nice Mac monitor and some speakers and stuff, so I can't blame them I guess :)

Hope you all have a good day planned.  Stay warm if you're in a heat wave, and stay safe if you are near the Tropical Storm!

Time Since Surgery: 6.5 months

B: Click Mocha mixed into coffee, and super clumpy.  I have Chike iced coffee on it's way from Amazon.

L: TBD - someone is taking me out

D: Tofu and cauliflower.  I found this brand called "More Than Tofu" and the flavor is Spicy Thai.  4 oz is 180 calories, 6 g of carbs and 16 g of protein.

S: 1/2 cup of mango before the gym

E: Hour at the gym - treadmill and strength training

W: None yet, does coffee count?

V: This post always reminds me to get on it...

What's on your menu today?  Em

Good morning.Today is a hot steamy one here in Jersey. But I am okay with that.I totally feel better this summer with being 105 pounds lighter.I still sweat but I don't care as much.

I have been up since five.I have been getting up so early since the surgery. I don't mind.I get a lot done when no one else is up.

I figured out what one of my triggers are with food.I bought a food magazine and that made me think about food constantly. I used to watch the Food Network and now I can't do that.

I know sounds kooky.

Water: half way there

Vitamin:First round

B:Quarter of a stuffed pepper and 1/4 of a piece of chicken sausage

L:Salad with some chicken

D:I am going out so a hamburger with a side salad

S:If I am hungry I will have one

Exercise not sure I am thinking I will walk the isles in Costco

Enjoy the day

3BH, I'm sorry you can'****ch Food Network anymore. I don't have cable at my place, so watching the Food Network at the gym is one of my favorite things LOL. I think Em has said she does this too - but when I watch it I just am aghast at the portions and the butter and the mayo and on and on. I watch it and judge it mostly.... I would be so sad if I couldn'****ch it.

Maybe you can switch to HGTV?

FF, nice swimming! As you might have noticed, I'm obsessed with water aerobics and am working towards having the courage to swim-swim, but right now it feel intimidating. I've never been a lap swimmer, but it's super appealing to me. Soon! It actually is one of my goals to try before the end of summer.

Anny, just go for it! Don't ever feel intimidated. I didn't use to be a lap swimmer until I started about 3 years ago. I knew the basic strokes, and have worked to make them better. When I first started 3 years ago, I could only swim 12 laps until I was exhausted. You can do it!

Good morning Em and 3BH and others. It's great to see some new people joining us. I love this post because it makes me accountable and forces me to plan. One of my weaknesses is failure to plan. I would love to be one of those people who shop for groceries one time a week but don't know that I will ever get there. The only plus is that I live a bit over a block from a grocery store so I can walk there no problem! And it feels great to be able to do that!! My son hates to go to the store with me now as he says I now park in Timbuktu--just because I can! Lily and I walked already this morning and went a bit farther--3.25 miles to be exact. We were going to meet a dog that terrifies her so did a figure eight instead of a straight loop. It didn't hurt either of us to take a few extra steps and saved aggravation for her. I wish I could read her mind to see why she hates only this one dog?! Also got 20 minutes of strength training with Jillian done too. I'll also do 200 crunches sometime today too. 22 months out and weight at 120.6 pounds today. On track with vitamins and water so far. I did do better on fluids with 100 ounces yesterday, which was my goal in this heat. Here's the eats:B1/2 c steel cut oats with nuts and 1/2 banana with peanut butter L 3/4 c ham and beans and 1/4 corn muffin S mango with peanut butter D 31/2 oz tilapia and 1/2 c green beans S Greek yogurt. Hope everyone has a great day!

Great job on the swimming too,FF. And Em I revised my goal several times. My surgeon didn't set a goal for me and my original goal was 160 because when you weigh over 260 even that doesn't seem attainable. Then I revised to 140 which was a normal bmi. Then when I blew by that one I set it at the loiw end of s normal bmi which is where I am today. So your plan is great. Just see how you feel when you get there. I went as low as was healthy so if I get a bounce back I'll still be a normal bmi.
