Hello,

Can anyone tell me if symptoms associated with PMS such as hunger and cravings disappear or diminish after the RNY surgery?

Thank you!

My hunger went away.  Cravings are psychological and did not go away for me.

Generally  not, at least not long term.  Most people don't feel much hunger for a few months after RNY but then hunger returns for most.  The difference is that we feel full on less food.  Cravings are more psychological and surgery on your stomach doesn't get rid of them.
