Selfishly I need help!

I'm probably not as young as I look.  I'm 33. 

I own shoes that are older than 33. You have lots of time.

33 is young. It will get better and you'll find someone when you least expect it. Take care of yourself until that time and it will happen. Best to you! -Lori

Don't expect any man to want to take on your issues.  If the three dogs and home are something that you can't handle without a man, then you need to change your priorities.  You might need to find a less expensive place with less upkeep to live in and to find homes for the dogs.  Your emotional issues need to be resolved before you get into a relationship.

Strong, independent and capable men want a strong, independent and capable woman that will make their lives better.  Make your own happiness and many men will be wanting to share that with you.

Get out of the fairy tale mentality and start making your life great without a man. 

Wow.  You are coming on a little strong!  I can handle my own - he just wasn't able to deal with the complexities that come with those things.  It's not easy.  I've been both a dog owner and a home owner for nearly 10 years. 

The emotional issues were just set off by the situation.
