BREAD

You're not alone.  I crave bread too, but I don't tend to eat regular white bread.  I have several bariatric friendly bread/muffin recipes and I have a freezer full of homemade breakfast carbs individually bagged; I take one out before I go to bed at night so it's thawed for the next morning.  I'm particularly fond of my autumn scones, which I eat at least a couple of times a week for breakfast with my latte.  I also like the Tumaro low-i-carbs wraps, which have 60 calories and 5 net carbs.  Half a bagel isn't going to kill you (I do that with peanut butter and sugar free jam).  But you have to stay on top of it.  Carbs are evil.  :-)  Just this week I cleared out all my diet cookies because I found myself losing control over my cravings.

Good luck to you!

No you are not alone in this. I am learning to have a long distance relationship with bread but I don't eliminate it completely because that would cause me to obsess with the need to cheat if I made it a "forbidden" food. Instead I'm practicing self-discipline (contributes very little nutrition to my diet). But yes even just the thought of it is delicious. Lol

Best of luck
