Yep. It's because the nerves were cut during your surgery and haven't healed yet.

Yep. I pretty much lived on 4 protein shakes a day for the first month because the thought of pureed food repulsed me. I wanted to make sure I got my protein in. You may have to measure for a while until the nerves that give you the feeling of fullness heal.

I wanted to point out that for many of us, we have a different feeling of full now. I'm 8 1/2 months out and my full feels absolutely nothing like it used to. My full now is a tight feeling right where my pouch is. Kinda like it is a hard knot. I also usually get the hiccups right around my full mark.
Please don't go searching for the old feeling of full!
