Critique my diet! Please :)
So I have been feeling like I've been at the same weight for a bit now. I am trying to exercise 3 times a week at least, whether thats going to the gym or doing my elliptical at home, going for a hike, etc. When I go to the gym I do 20 minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes of machine weights. If I'm just doing the elliptical, its usually 30-45 minutes. I have been slacking this week, but I am going to see a PT for the first time Friday morning, and have a long hike scheduled for Saturday.
Here is an example of a "day in my pouch." Would anyone change anything they see in my diet? My water is typically 80-100 ounces per day. Typically for dinner I've been trying to incorporate a meat and veggie (like spinach) instead of the shake, but I have an appointment tonight.

My surgery date was June 30th and as of yesterday my nutritionist ( who is Bariatric certified) upped my calories to 1000 per day.
I have to get 60-80 protein per day, around 100 grams carbs ( i eat no bread of any kind) and 28 fat grams per day.
If I had to guess, I think your calorie intake is way too low, especially since you are exercising so much. I barely make it to 900 calories
per day but I really try. Maybe consider seeing a nutritionist (?)

Are you allowed to eat crackers? I am almost 6 months out and the only crackers I can eat is Melba toast. How about eating dome type of neat protein, tuna, chicken,etc.
I am "allowed" to eat anything as of six weeks out. I struggled with adding meats in, but am advancing slowly now. Cheese has always been my go to, but I am starting to add chicken salad etc.
Maybe I do need to up my calories. I met with my NUT Monday, and she thought I was doing well but should work on advancing more. My goal is 60g of protein a day and 60 ounces of water.
I ate crackers. I made goal. If I eat crackers now... I want more crackers!! LOL I miss the days I was trying to fill up the pouch and make it to a calorie goal!
My NUT says 800 calories should be your minimum. I would just add some lunch meat with your snacks!
