I am only 2 months out, last weekend I went through my closet and tried on clothes, I took out a lot and put in a box for my daughter in law, and was surprised by how many things did fit that I haven't worn in quite some time.  I'm looking forward to being 6 months out to see where I will be by then.

Congratulations to you on your success in your weight loss and with your new job.  When God closes a door there is another better one waiting to go thru.

Thanks..isn't it a great feeling to out grow your clothes..I know I went through sizes pretty fast.  Gave a lot to my moms friend daughter who had cancer and on disability. It's funnyni was looking for a long sleeve shirt the other day and found some I had kept from the spring Size 1X why in the world did I,think they would still fit me.  I keep thinking I have gotten rid of all my bigger size clothes and lo and behold, I keep finding some.  I had way too many clothes..  Now I have shopped at the thrift stores for clothes.and hit the clearance racks.  Got 3 pair of Jean capri's from Walmart over the weekend for $3 each!

i agree..things happen for a reason and I think God knew I was pretty stressed at my old job and knew I would never look for another one on my own.

Yay!!!  You have much to feel proud of.    I am 5 months out and still aiming at that "normal" BMI.  Thanks for the encouragement by sharing your story.

Congrats to you and your success! I am very happy to hear how well you've done.  I am following a similar path, I was laid off from my job about 6 weeks after I had my surgery (I am 3 1/2 months post op).  I'm on unemployment now and interviewing, hoping to have a new job soon.  One thing for me that I noticed was that being laid off didn't affect me the way I thought it would.  I was laid off about 10 years ago and I got really frustrated and depressed.  This time is the total opposite. I attribute it to my daily exercise and overall better health. I am very positive about finding another job, and being down close to 50 lbs has boosted my confidence in the interviews. I may end up with a much better job, with better pay as well.

Enjoy your new job, and keep up the great work!

Thanks and sorry to hear you lost your job too!  As I say, things happen for a reason and there is something better for me and there was..though I did love being off and wish I still was..collecting unemployment, thought I would be bored, but far from it.  Though now I am not able to walk as much as I was, since I am taking a class after work 2 nights a week.

good luck on your job search..there is something out there for you.  Congrats on the weightloss that is great!
