TUESDAY GRATEFUL POST
Good Tuesday Everyone,
Hope your having a great week. Mine is going....haven't decided how good or bad it is yet. LOL Everyday of our lives we have so very much to be grateful for. Life sometimes isn't as kind to us as we would want it to but that is OK...we just deal with it and go on. Today I am so grateful that I decided to have WLS 9 yrs ago. I've never for one second retreated doing this life saving surgery. I am grateful everyday of my life that a new day brings new chances to make better choices than the day before, grateful for God in my life and for my faith in him and answered prayers, grateful today for my family, friends, life and health. Grateful for all the things that I can do since my WLS and for support groups. PLEASE share if you will what you are grateful for today and have a blessed and safe day.
Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian
GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE; COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN; AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!! THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

I am thankful for diversity and respect among my family, my friends, and everywhere else that it exists. I am thankful for my Catholic new wife as we wait for the successful resolution of the visa journey we are in the midst of. I am thankful and proud of my 92 year old Jewish Holocaust survivor father and the lessons of hope and of the social cancer bred through bigotry and prejudice he has taught us. I am Thankful for my son who was ordained as a Lutheran minister this past fall and of the great works he has done these past several months at the Parrish which called him to serve as Pastor. I am extremely proud of my other (younger-Atheist-and Existentialist) son. After being diagnosed with Schizophrenia in high school and traveling a long, difficult road to recovery he has now not only received a Bachelors degree in Philosophy, but thas returned to University to earn a degree in Accounting which he is on track to complete in May. I also am extremely grateful to my wonderful ex wife who after divorcing when the kids were young always put the needs of our kids first so that their parents (us) sat together for all band, sports, school events as well as going together to to teacher conferences and always conferring with one another, so as to be united in our parenting responses when the situations arose. I am so thankful for my 19 month old granddaughter who inspires me daily as well as all those mentioned earlier who have given me the resolve & inspiration to have my WLS 6 days ago and to use it as means to enjoy the blessing of life for many years to come.
