Three weeks post op and my weight is fluctuating

Not sure what I'm doing wrong or if it's my scale. I've lost 40lbs but now my weight is up and down 2-3 lbs. What am I doing wrong?

If you are sticking to your program it's probably water weight. I have a four pound range depending of how much salt and caffeine I have had

The only thing I didn't do was a constant pureed diet. It grossed me out so much. Texture problem. But I've been still eating soup and suffer free pudding and sf jello.

I heard about the 3 weeks stall that's when the weight gets stuck and doesn't move so maybe you are there....

You've lost 40 pounds, your body is taking a break. :) Stalls are normal. I had a 3 1/2 week stall after the first week. I wasn't doing anything wrong. It just happens.

I have a Tanita scale.  I will not accept a scale that fluctuates and most of them do.  I weigh daily and trust my scale.  I have had my Tanita since 1993 and it is always perfectly accurate when I am weighed at doctors offices on their digital scales I get the same weight.  It was $50 in 1993.

Here are the top rated scales from Consumer Reports.
