When should I weigh myself?
I saw my surgeon today to get my drains removed, they weighed me and I'm up 6 lbs since surgery day. I'm not going to freak...hopefully when I see her again in 2 weeks, This procedure (and the fact I'm on a very low cal plan these weeks...all liquids) will have kicked in...and there will be some kind of loss.
I plan to track myself weekly.
In having the same issue with protein. It took me 7 hrs to drink 26 gr....and the shakes are now making me nauseous. I bought the unflavored unjury...haven't tried it yet. I also got the chicken flavored...I make like soup and eat with a baby spoon. I can do 1/2 a scoop in 4 oz of liquid....
I started weighing myself daily one week post-op.

I weigh myself daily and record it once a week on Wednesdays as that is the day I had surgery. I don't think I weighed myself day 1 being home, but certainly that week. Just can't let it freak you out, esp. in the beginning. One week after surgery I went into a 3 1/2 week plateau. I was sure I was the one this wasn't going to work for. My doc kept saying he wasn't worried. Obviously I got past it. Congrats on being on the other side.
