I am 6 weeks post-op of open rny and I am wondering when everyone started sleeping on their stomach again? I have always been a stomach sleeper and it's been really hard getting a good nights sleep on my sides or back!

I am 3 weeks out and finally slept on my stomach last night. Up until then, it is just napping!

About 4 days post was able to sleep on my right side crawl.  About seven days for the left side where the large incision is.

I slept on my stomach as soon as it was comfortable to do so...maybe after a week or 10 days. I remember the first time I did it it was heavenly!

I had a laparoscopic RNY and was back on my stomach within a week.  As long as you don't experience pain or discomfort I'm sure it's fine for you to sleep on your stomach at six weeks post-op.
