Any cracker suggestions? Something crunchy?

I occasionally eat crackers, I like a few of the big Wheat thins, or one wasa cracker. The Wasa are only like 40 calories each, large and very crunchy...

There is nothing good about any cracker.  Go get a bag of pork rinds. I like the hot ones myself.

What about akmak crackers?  I was allowed one or two with tuna on a managed weightloss plan years back. I thought they were tasty but I just don't really care about crackers that much! (thankfully!)

I heard BA sells crisps and I have heard they're very good and have a lot of protein in them.

Before my surgery, I found some chips in different flavors at GNC, They were protein chips ,and really tasted good. I will be getting some when I am able to eat them.

I use cucumbers as my crackers for the most part

http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2011/07/cucum ber-crackers.html but when I want something salty & crunchy I do roasted chickpeas or freeze dried edamame something like that http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2014/06/a-doz en-protein-packed-and-portable.html and http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2012/03/frida y-five_09.html

Hope those give you a few ideas,

Keebler actually makes a whole grain "mini" cracker. If you can allow yourself them in moderation, try those. I will eat a few on rare occasion with some tuna or natural PB. However, I still do not allow myself any breads, rices, or pastas as I feel that is what led to most of my issues to begin with. I come from an Italian family who ate cold spaghetti sandwiches on buttered bread for crying out loud!!! That should have been my sign years ago!! ;)

That being said, just be cautious of anything that might lead you to crave any foods which may be triggers to overeat or lead you down the wrong path.

I've only just had my surgery and won't be seeing solids for a few weeks now, but a post surgery friend was telling me about quest protein bars and while looking at the site I saw these. I too understand the desire for a little crunch with tuna. These will be on my shopping list. Many different flavors and the main ingredient is protein whey isolate. HIGH protein fairly low carb and minimal fat. Might be worth looking at these as an option. Good luck!   SEA SALT- SINGLE BAG Sea Salt - Box of 8 21g Protein   INGREDIENTS: Protein Blend (Milk Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Isolate), Dried Potatoes, Corn Starch, High Oleic Sunflower Oil. I can not do crackers, I will not stop once I start.  I can not have sugar free cookies , I will eat the whole bag.        I miss the crackers once in awhile but I don`t think of them that often anymore....

I take 2 slices of sharp cheddar. Lay them out between 2 paper plates. Nuke them for 70 seconds until it gets melted, hard and crunchy
