2 months out
Hunger is from eating carbs. Stick to protein and water and the hunger will be gone in 3 days
Eat eggs, fish, meat with nothing else but protein shakes. No bread, sugar, rice, fruit, crackers, candy, ice cream, pasta, noodles, cereals or other high carb foods.
You will not succeed if you don't learn to have only protein and a few low carb vegetables. Don't waste your surgery honeymoon. It will be a lot harder further out.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Ditto what everyone said. Eat your protein. If you are hungry drink water. If you are still hungry eat some protein. Not eating enough protein will stall your weight loss. You are losing. Slow and steady wins the race.

Isn't it ironic that we think the surgery is a quick fix? I am finding myself extremely antsy too. I am just trying to tell myself that each day is a new day and I just have to keep trucking along. I had my 8 week checkup today and told her I was disappointed with my loss but she reassured me that I can continue on the right path and it will happen. Let's just be thankful we are losing and not gaining like pre-surgery. Hang in there! Try and take comfort that everyone understands and wants to help. I would be willing to bet you're starting to get noticed. Maybe that will be the boost you need to keep trying! I know it helps me.

2 months out. 5 long stalls.
26 pounds post surgery lost.
Always hungry. Not head hunger.
Shouldn't I have lost more than this?
Starting weight 260
Surgery day weight 252
Current weight 228
Following directions.
I'm just SICK of stalling, being HUNGRY, and barely losing ANYTHING.
I'm not sure what your expectations were prior to surgery, but it sounds like you might be a over dramatic.
You have lost 24 pounds in two months (252-228 = 24 lbs, not 26). That equates to 12 lbs per month. How much did you realistically expect to lose each month?
"Barely losing anything?" Could you please define what you consider a "long stall?" It's hard to understand how you could have five "long stalls" within two months.
You will not lose weight everyday. Your body adjusts to the weight loss. Many of us lose weight in stair step patterns, not a linear slope.
Dehydration can feel like hunger. Or it could be you need a PPI. Are you taking one now?
Although you state that you're following directions, it would be helpful to know what those directions are. Several people have asked you to post what you're eating because without additional information, it's impossible to determine what's really going on. Or was your post just to vent and not look for solutions? It's confusing.
