Process is started! So excited

I saw my surgeon today and am so excited to start the process! He said 1-2 months for self pay patients until the surgery so I'm pretty happy with that timeline. Hoping for a March date - it will be my birthday present to myself. He saw no issues with my co-morbidities and answered all of my questions. Now I got my pysch assessment scheduled and waiting for the NUT to call me for that appointment. 

I don't need to lose a certain amount before surgery and don't have to jump through many hoops so maybe my self pay issue will be a blessing in disguise.

That is great. Being self pay has to be easier at getting things done. IF you deal with insurance you have to follow their rules and pray that they will approve it.
