Very Discouraged

It's unrealistic because you will not lose every week or week and a half, you weighed on a different scale which can vary greatly, water weight can account for up to 4 to 5 pounds in fluctuation and you are literally in the middle of the infamous 3 week stall which is more typical than unusual. In your first post you said that you are only 5 weeks out and you should still be losing every day. This is unrealistic.
Cut the carbs and see if that jump starts you. As mentioned before, fruit seriously slows my loss.
Otherwise, I guess you can just prefer to be "very discouraged." I personally would be comforted by other people who have "been there and done that" letting me know that perhaps I was being unrealistic. If you are following plan, you will succeed. I mean, I have lost 175 lbs in 12 months -- and I had only lost 18 pounds at 5 weeks post op.

I am sorry you were told that. I never lost a pound a day. NEVER. And, I have surpassed everyone in my real life group for weight loss over 12 months. I have definitely gone a week, a week and a half and even two weeks without losing. Just this morning, I was up 1.5 pounds from the day before, and yesterday I only ate 670 calories. Honest.
I am sorry you're feeling discouraged.

Most people don't lose a pound a day.

One week after surgery I went into a 3 1/2 week stall. I thought I was going to lose my mind. How could I be stalling when I am eating about 500 calories maybe? Part of this journey is changing our heads and our thinking. We need to be in it for the long term. We have all had many failures or we wouldn't be here. My doc kept saying "I'm not worried" well after getting through that my next two week stall wasn't nearly as devastating. I weigh myself everyday, but I don't let it rule me. I was convinced I was the one it wasn't going to work for. It will work. You've had some good suggestions, keep moving forward.

Do you keep a food journal? I track my fluids, calories (more for information than anything else at this point), protein and carbs. When I stalled for about two weeks I started my food journal again and found I was eating too many carbs. I limit carbs to 50 grams/day and everything has carbs in it (it seems!) so I think that might be part of the issue. Also, muscle weighs more than fat so if you are building muscle through exercising that could account for the weight gain. Are you measuring yourself? Every month on my anniversary day I take my measurements and that tells a true picture. Hope this helps. My nut said I could have up to 100 - 125 grams of carbs/day but it just didn't work for me. They tell you what works for the average person so you need to listen to your body and experiment to see what works for you. I always follow the fluid and protein recommendations (I don't mess with that) but carbs are much lower and so are calories for now - I am at about 600 - 750 and they want me at 1200. To begin with I just couldn't tolerate that much food in a day. Keep us updated. When I changed things up I saw results in about a week. Hang in there!

You haven't gained weight. Your body is FLUCTUATING. It didn't take 2 weeks to put on the weight. It's not going to drop off instantly either. Be patient. Our bodies retain fluids when it's humid or we have eatin something with 2 much salt. Menstration causes water weight. You also haven't been post op long enough to understand your stall schedule. I don't lose for 3 weeks and drop a ton on the 4th week.
Please do what I said, up your proteins. cut the carbs. Read about Ketosis. That is what we all strive to be in. That is when we are optimally losing weight.

As Chili and others have pointed out, the carbs will prevent rapid weight loss and create fat. To get your body into ketosis you probably need to eat 40 or less carbs a day. That starts the ketosis fat burning process. You can buy test strips to make sure you stay in ketosis. When the strips are purple your body will be burning fat very quickly.
Your plan allows carbs, but eating the carbs keeps you from experiencing the rapid weight loss that you want to see after surgery. Eat more protein, more fat, and get your body into ketosis. You will be amazed at how fast the fat will melt away.
Don't waste this wonderful honeymoon period over some strawberries and bananas. Later when the weight is gone you can add fruit back into your diet. For now concentrate on getting the weight off.
Don't hide the scale. Get on it and make sure it is going down. Have fun watching the numbers get lower every day. It will never be this easy again.
