bummed

today was to be my consultation, the appointment i've been looking forward to for the last 2 weeks. due to the snow, the office was closed so obviously my appointment was canceled. i'm disappointed and anxious because no one has called me to reschedule yet. i almost feel like this is a sign and it's not meant to be. i will be calling first thing in the morning to try and get another appointment. i hope they'll be able to squeeze me in and i wont have to wait long.

The weather is not a sign that it is not meant to be.  It is just weather.  Call and get another appointment.

So Sorry your appt was cancelled.  Don't take it as a bad sign.  Take it as your Dr. cares enough about your well being not to bring you out in this mess.

apparently,the surgeon didn't want his staff driving in any conditions. 

I don't imagine ,since the office is closed,that there is anyone there to call you back,today,to reschedule.

I would take it that you have a caring surgeon that didn't want his/her patients and staff out in the awful weather.  Just get another appointment and cross your fingers for good weather.  

If your appointment was cancelled, the staff probably had the day off, and that's why no one called to reschedule you. Give them a call in the morning (if they are open for business), and just get your appointment rescheduled. These things happen at times, especially this time of year when the weather is so unpredictable. 

Totally understand being disappointed. Breathe. Be still. Don't give into anxiety. The weather is just the weather. Don't read into something that is not there
